Choosing this topic was decisive for us, many people suffer from dissatisfaction with their bodies. Obsessively considering their physique and attractiveness. Excessive stress on their weight, form, or size. Frequently comparing their physique and attractiveness to those of others. Changes in their food and exercise habits to lose weight or gain muscle. Unfortunately, social media is influencing our feeling of beauty. This project will help to give people more confidence and love and acceptance to their bodies. Many people, especially those of our age, suffer from anxiety and depression because of their lack of acceptance of their bodies. We must spread awareness about this issue and try to reduce the numbers affected by this issue.
The effect of watching conventional media that emphasizes appearance on the emergence of body image issues has long been studied.Social media is now one of the main external factors that cause people to feel unsatisfied with their bodies. Social media often only shows the "highlights" of a person's life and depicts photos that have been altered and filtered. These pictures promote an unattainable ideal of beauty that is unattainable in real life. According to research, using social media often is linked to more body dissatisfaction and disordered eating. When someone views and compares oneself to social media photographs, reads comments about appearance on social media and feels they fall short of the ideal images offered, this can lead to body dissatisfaction.
